Noor Jahan built this beautiful white marble tomb for her parents between 1622 to 1628 (in memory of her father Mirza Ghias-Ud-Din Beg) who was conferred the title “Itmad-ud-Daullah” and it is also beloved that it was first tomb built in white Marvel.
SIKANDRA (Tomb of Great Akbar)
It is a red sandstones Marble tomb in the city of Agra few miles away from Taj Mahal, built by the great Emperor Akbar for himself and finished by his son Jahangir in 1613. This glorious monument showcase a Harmonious fusion of Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic and Jain art of architecture.
