Tour Overview
Some trips are about history. Some are about faith. This one gives you both in a single day.
You start early in Delhi, drive to Agra for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, then continue to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Vrindavan, where he is believed to have spent his childhood. By evening, you are standing in a lively temple town filled with bells, chants, and lights, before heading back to Delhi.
It is a long day, but a smooth one. The Yamuna Expressway makes the drive fast, and a private car means you can stop for chai, food, or photos whenever you want.
This tour works well for families, couples, pilgrims, friends, and first-time visitors to India who have only one day to spare.
Highlights
- See India’s most loved monument, a white marble tomb built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
- Walk through the red sandstone fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Mughal home.
- Krishna Janmabhoomi, Visit the sacred site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

Mani is the best! Mani was 10/10 guide! A great chat and very knowledgeable about not only the Taj itself but the surrounding area, local fare and history. He showed us areas of the Taj not accessible to all of the public (felt very VIP) and is very familiar/friendly with security and staff of the grounds. As first time travelers to India, we felt very taken care of during the tour and most importantly, safe with Mani. We had so much fun and when we visit the Taj again, we would only want to do it again with him!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

family visit to Taj Mahal It was a wonderful experience when we visited the Taj Mahal and the Palace of the King in Agra a few days ago. Blessed to have as our guide Mr. Zahid, whose knowledge of the subject is superb, we enjoyed every moment of our walks through the site. His explanations were accurate and made the trip interesting. I highly recommend him for your personal or business visit to the region, you will not be disappointed. In addition to the love for his work and the subject-matter, he is an excellent photographer and with his skills made our visit a memorable one!
